Professional Biography

Robin Worth is an associate researcher for Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative and within WCER. She specializes in qualitative methods of evaluation research. Her recent evaluation work includes projects for the Chicago Community Trust, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s SPARK early literacy intervention. She designed and led the implementation of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Academic and Career Planning needs assessment, and is now the co-PI of the evaluation of the statewide roll-out, as well as a related needs assessment focusing on career pathways. Robin holds a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition from UW-Madison with an emphasis in foreign language pedagogy and qualitative classroom research. Additionally, she has private-sector expertise in public relations, strategic communications and issue management, as well as 15 years of teaching experience in foreign languages, English as a Second Language and applied linguistics.
